BEACHES

Burlington is home to miles of scenic beaches along Lake Champlain.

Soak up the sun, play in the sand, and watch the sun set over Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. All our beaches are accessible from the Burlington Greenway.

  • Oakledge Park features two beaches:
Blanchard Beach is at the South End
of Burlington, located off of Flynn
    Avenue; Oakledge Cove features
    scenic rocky outcroppings, perfect
for catching a sunset. This park also
    has picnic tables, a universally
    accessible playground and seasonal
    bathrooms.

Oakledge

Texaco Beach is the City’s only dedicated dog beach providing water access to canines year-round. The beach is conveniently located near the Waterfront Dog Park with access off

  • of the Burlington Greenway.

Texaco Beach

  • North Beach is our largest beach and the only beach with active lifeguards in our summer season. A 137 site campground, food concessions, playground, restrooms with showers, picnic tables and grills are available.

North Beach

1500′ of sandy beach overlooking

a grassy picnic area with grills

and picnic tables. Leddy Park has
